Successful completion of the seminar “Methods and tools for the social integration of migrants and refugees”

The Institute for Entrepreneurship Development (INA), partner of the project “URBAGRI4WOMEN – Innovative Practices and Joint Urban Initiatives to Support the Integration of Immigrant Women in Local Communities through Urban Rural Activities” co-funded by the European Union through the Asylum Fund Immigration and Integration, organized in cooperation with the Municipality of Larissa on Tuesday, November 14, Networking Seminar on “Methods and Tools for the Social Integration of Migrants and Refugees”. The seminar, which was held at the Paphos Mills in Larissa, was aimed both at communicating the objectives of the project and its activities so far, as well as in exchanging good practices among the participants, including representatives of the Municipality, including the Deputy Mayor of Social Policy and Welfare of the Municipality of Larissa, Mr. Dimitris Deligiannis, local organizations and associates of the Institute from Turkey, Latvia, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Albania.

The seminar was completed with great success, while the participants had the opportunity to discuss with each other and to exchange experiences about the situation in different European countries due to the increased attendance of refugees and immigrants, as well as actions implemented for their immediate and smooth social integration.
